He married Caroline Randall (b. 30 September 1858, Stanton, Powell, KY and d. 25 August 1942, Craig, Holt, MO) who is d/o Samuel and Susan Randall. (They reportedly had 10 children and raised two orphan children, Alva and Avon Low. I only have information on 6 of the 10 children.)

May 1885, Craig, Holt, MO; William^9 Hanley Van Vickle, b. 7 May 1886, Craig, Holt, MO and d. 15 January 1947. He married Edna Lower on 25 December 1912 in Liberty, Holt, MO (Item: W.H. Van Vickle, prominent northwest Missouri monument dealer, has a force of men building a foundation in the Oregon Cemetery for the new Mausoleum he is erecting there--HCMP--1908); Lydia^9 E. Van Vickle, b. 1889, Craig, Holt, MO, d. 1924, Craig, Holt, MO; Etta^9 Van Vickle, b. May, 1893, Craig, Holt, MO; Lee^9 Edward Van Vickle, b. 1896, Craig, Holt, MO, d. 24 May 1974. He married Opal Bunker. He also founded Van Vickle Monument Inc. in St. Joseph, MO; Louisa^9 Van Vickle, b.
